When the weather isn't sweltering hot and isn't quite the rainy season yet, I enjoy playing with my kids' sidewalk chalk and drawing on our driveway with them. My daughter especially likes to draw with chalk and even more if I'm drawing with her. In many of these photos you can see her additions. She drew the 2 of us above the "All you need is love" piece. We have a fair amount of people that walk their dogs in our neighborhood, so I like to write messages celebrating the holidays when appropriate. A few of these were done during the beginning of the pandemic in those early shutdown days when we were all going stir crazy and couldn't be with others. For those I tried to choose some uplifting messages. It's nice to practice in a different medium on a much larger scale and involve my kiddos in the process.
