I grew up going to theme parks as a kid and so did my husband. When we started dating we became passholders at different theme parks and attractions and over the years we have done the same for our kids. One of my favorite attractions around is the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, FL. There are so many pieces of the mansion that stand out to me, but I always had a love for the stretching portraits when you first enter the mansion. Particularly the doomed tight rope walker. I decided that I wanted a sticker for my water bottle of the tightrope walker in a sketchy watercolor style. Pretty specific I know. When I didn't find anything that fit what I was looking for, I set out to make my own. I continued with all 4 portraits, framed in a coffin shape and then had them made.
Recently, in addition to stickers, I have started to offer this artwork series on shirts. I'm wearing a black UPF performance fabric shirt with my rendition of the Doomed Tightrope Walker.
